A ready-made set of drawings for the standard solution of a 10/0.4 kV package transformer substation (KTP) with low-voltage switchgear (RUNN) in two designs — pole-mounted KTPM-400 kVA and urban-type KTPGS-630 kVA: 8 PDF files (8 sheets) — single-line diagrams of the RUNN cabinet with parts lists, order questionnaires, an overall layout drawing, an outdoor lighting cabinet diagram, plus an equipment layout plan and an assembly drawing of the ShchO-90 panel frame (low-voltage switchgear and control panel) for the KTPGS-1000. The drawings were produced by LK Energy engineers based on real production orders (2022). PDFs are freely available below; the DWG package is provided free of charge on request via the form.
What a package substation with LV switchgear is and when it is used
A 10/0.4 kV package transformer substation (KTP) is a fully factory-assembled substation that receives electricity at 10 kV, steps it down to 0.4 kV via a power transformer, and distributes it to consumers. Structurally, a KTP consists of three units: a high-voltage switchgear unit (RUVN) with power fuses, a power transformer (a TMG unit in this solution), and a low-voltage switchgear unit (RUNN). The RUNN is a 0.4 kV cabinet with an incoming switching device, outgoing-line circuit breakers, current transformers, and a commercial metering unit.
By design, a distinction is made between pole-mounted KTPM substations — mounted on a support structure with an outdoor RUNN cabinet — and urban-type KTPGS substations, housed in a metal enclosure with separate compartments for the 10 kV switchgear, the transformer, and the 0.4 kV switchgear. Both designs are included in this package.
The solution addresses a typical task for an outdoor power supply designer: a single-line diagram of the KTP on the 0.4 kV side with an equipment list, an order questionnaire form for the substation manufacturer, and an overall dimension drawing for the site plan. It is used when connecting new consumers to 10 kV networks — residential developments, municipal and agricultural facilities — and when reconstructing worn-out transformer substations. The composition of outgoing lines and the transformer rating are adapted based on the questionnaire.

Frequently asked questions
Can these diagrams be used in a working project?
Yes — as a standard base solution. Site-specific adaptation, load calculation, and verification of compliance with the current PUE (electrical installation rules) and DSTU (Ukrainian national standards) are the designer's responsibility. The drawings were made based on real LK Energy production orders from 2022.
What equipment is specified in the diagrams?
NM8S (250S/630S) and VA-73 circuit breakers, RPB-10 and RE19-41 disconnect switches, T-0.66 accuracy class 0.5S current transformers, a GAMA G3B meter with an MCL modem, OPNp surge arresters, BKN modular devices. Designs using other equipment are agreed upon via the questionnaire.
How can I get the DWG files?
Fill out the form on this page — we will send the DWG package to your email within one business day.
Does LK Energy manufacture KTPs to these diagrams?
Yes. We manufacture KTPs (both pole-mounted and urban type), RUNN cabinets, KSO/KRU switchgear cubicles (cable and complete switchgear units), and ShchO-90 panels (low-voltage switchgear and control panels) at our own production facility in Odesa — more than 3,000 units of equipment have been manufactured since 2015.
Will you help adapt the solution to my facility?
Yes, we advise designers on selecting the transformer rating, equipment ratings, and completing the questionnaire: +38 067 104 94 91.
The diagrams are provided as a reference standard solution. Site-specific adaptation, verification of protective device selectivity, and compliance with current standards (PUE, DSTU, DBN — state building codes) are the designer's responsibility. LK Energy is not liable for the use of this solution without adaptation to the conditions of a specific facility.
